Participation in GIFA Indonesia and GIFA Southeast Asia Exhibitions

Adelix Company and QES successfully participated in the 1st International Metallurgical Exhibition held as part of GIFA Indonesia from September 13 to 16, 2023. This significant event brought together leading participants in the metallurgical and foundry industries, as well as steel manufacturers from around the world.

GIFA Indonesia is a specialized regional exhibition dedicated to metallurgy, casting, and steel production. It ran in parallel with METEC Indonesia, creating a unique combination of international exhibitions focused on specialized casting technologies in this region.

Furthermore, Adelix Company, in collaboration with QES, took part in the inaugural GIFA Southeast Asia exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand, from September 20 to 22, 2023, showcasing an extensive range of machinery, equipment, and solutions for foundry technologies and innovations.

Adelix, in collaboration with its distributor QES, showcased a range of cutting-edge equipment designed to enhance manufacturing processes in metallurgy and casting at the exhibition. Of particular interest to visitors was the hardness measurement device, specifically the universal portable hardness tester ADL-DU110.

This device is applicable for measuring the hardness of carbon and structural steels, surface-hardened products, heat-resistant materials, corrosion-resistant stainless steels, galvanized coatings, weldments, products with complex configurations, thin-walled items, and compact objects. This versatility makes the device an efficient solution for quality control of materials at various stages, including incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections.

The exhibition also featured various devices for balancing, equipment analysis, and initial diagnostics, including portable vibrometers from the ADL-P1/P3 series, the universal vibrometer ADL-M20, the vibrometer ADL-M12, the vibration analyzer ADL-MS30, and many others.

These devices are used for monitoring vibration in machinery and equipment, aiding in the detection of deviations and preventing breakdowns. They also diagnose faults such as imbalance or bearing wear and analyze vibration parameters. In the industry, these devices are employed to control vibration in manufacturing processes, enhancing efficiency and safety. They serve as critical tools for ensuring the reliability of mechanical systems and preventing emergencies.

Additionally, there was significant interest in the ADL-UT25 series devices for measuring the thickness of both metallic and non-metallic items. These devices have a wide range of applications, including assessing the corrosion condition of sheets, tanks, pipes, pipelines, bridges, enclosures, transportation infrastructure, and other structures, both during operation and after manufacture.

The presented devices find widespread use in industries such as energy, metallurgy, engineering, shipbuilding, transportation, and other industrial sectors.
